Take Your Dog to Work Day!

Happy Friday morning!  It is such a happy day because on this day, people are encouraged to take their dogs to work!  Yes, it is an official day first celebrated in 1999 by Pet Sitters International.  The day "was created to celebrate the great companions dogs make and to encourage their adoptions from humane societies, animal shelters and breed rescue clubs."  We love that idea! 

TYDTWD happens every day at SIT, and at some other companies we know in our area, but not all companies are excited about dogs in the workplace.  We wonder how many people will participate?  Will you? 

If your boss hasn't bought in to the idea yet, put some of these facts under your belt and get in there and sell them on it!  The TYDTWD website has some great information!

And, don't forget whenever you're with your dog, show them how special they are or how good they're behaving by rewarding them with healthy, unprocessed treats from SIT!
