I have only been in my southern family a short time since my birth and journey from Colorado, but pretty much every gathering since then has included carrot cake! I've never had a carrot either, and my pals seem to think they're gross and usually spit them out. Well, I'm a fan now and am sure these cupcakes will convince my buds at the dog park to think twice before they rule out veggies.
They are carrot cake mini cupcakes and they are awesome. They are even topped with an icing that is AMAZING!
I could smell them being mixed and baked and tried to help mom by putting my front paws up and standing up to the counter to make sure they tasted okay before she went to too much trouble, but that made her very unhappy. I even got down, then sat, then laid down (that's always the routine), but still didn't get as much as a little taste. But after a few minutes, before my eyes lay a beautiful little puff of something that smelled irresistible. I dug in!
I turned my cupcake over on the floor, much to my mom's dismay, but before she could worry too much, I was licking it all up with reckless abandon, making sure every bit was off the floor.
You are missing out if you don't get some of these. Who cares if there are vegetables in them?!
